In case some of the emulators may not run properly (showing a message box telling that the program configuration is not correct) one has to download the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 C++ runtime DLL from this page (external link to Microsoft's download page): Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 runtime redistributable Next time I'll make sure all emulator binaries are compiled with static linking to these libraries, but chances are good that these are already installed on most machines anyway. |

A minor update to the first release of my EACA EG2000 Colour Genie emulator. Here is what's new: - custom Z80 CPU frequencies (between 500000 and 10 mln Hz)
- added original German character set
- improved and optimized display emulation
As always, the actual download can be found on the dedicated page. Have fun! |

New emulator! |
|

After weeks of work I hereby release another new emulator. It's the ill-fated EACA EG2000 a.k.a. the Colour Genie (one might say I am specialized in ill-fated computers, eh?). It is probably still a bit rough around the edges but what the heck, it is quite usable already and will just work with most of the programs released for the platform. For the download head on over to the download page and check out the Readme for details. Kudos to everyone who provided beta testing and info! You know who you are. |
